I know these blog entries are all in backwards but I don't know how to change them around. This was actually the last thing we did while we were in Utah. We all went to the Brick Oven and then headed over to the Volleyball game or bollyball according to Joelle. It was a lot of fun. It was a tight game but BYU won in the end. That just made it even better!
Addie Joelle and Lucas I think I like going to watch volleyball more then any other sport. Exept maybe watching Olympic Swimming!

Family Weekend in Utah

Saturday afternoon we drove over to see Grandpa and Grandma. I always wish we could spend more time with them. I'm planning another trip in June to go and take care of Ty and Lucas for Lynne and Bryan. I want to spend a night again with my Mom and Dad while I'm down there. They both said they want to come up here too.

Saturday Twilight and Midnight!

Lynne heard about "Victoria", (I don't know her real name) coming to the Walmart near Lynne's house. The girls decided to go and face the madness! They said that it was crazy. There were soooo many people! With the help of one of the store employees they got a good picture of the actress. What a night!

We really missed Shirley and her girls and Cassie . . . . maybe next year :)

At one time or another my girls talked about Natalia. We all missed her and we know that anytime we are all together we are going to feel like she should be there with us. Stephanie mentioned how Rick and Doris's family probably feel her absence all the time. We do love her!!!

Friday Denise, Stephanie and I all drove down to Utah. Jeff and Jennilynn and their two girls drove down also. We all went to the annuel Garner Girl Cousin gathering. This year it was is the hands of Camille. Her and Jeremy bought their first home and they have done such a cute job in putting special touches in it. She really does take after her mother who knows just what looks right.

It was sooooo fun seeing everyone and such a good way to stay in touch. We from Idaho were so glad that we made the trip because we enjoyed all the talking and laughing, and renewing our friendships. The great dinner which was taco salad Cafe Rio style, just added to the very special time we all had.

Are you prepared?

I never want to be an alarmist but I hope everyone is working on having a good food storage and is growing a garden this year. Last year our Stake President challenged everyone to bottle one jar of peaches. Of course he knew that no one would bottle just one jar . . . This year his challenge is for everyone to plant one tomato plant. . . . I think he has a purpose to his challenges! I feel like things in our country are about to change but it doesn't mean that I think the world is going to come to an end. It is just like having a fire extinguisher around when it rarely if ever is used. It's just nice to have if you do need it! I just want to pass our Stake President's message along to all of you in hopes that you all will take up the challenge.
